Mini Games In Wii Play

One of the Nintendo Wii’s popular games, which takes advantage of its capabilities is Wii Play. It is very similar to other classics such as Wii Sports, but instead of professional sports, it doesn’t take itself seriously. It enables four people to play simple minigames instead, all of which are hilarious, easy to play, and best of all, fun for the whole family.

Wii Play has a myriad of minigames, the first one called Shooting Range wherein players aim their wii-motes at certain targets and shoot them down. The one who gets the highest score wins. Another game, Find Mii, requires players to use their powers of observation by looking for certain Miis. Table tennis is also a fun alternative to Wii Sports’ Tennis, and replicates the sport, allowing players to play realistically and hit the ball back and forth. Pose Mii, on the other hand, is a silly game wherein a Mii must be made to ‘pose’ in a certain position, within a time limit.

Laser Hockey is very much like air hockey and is also quite similar to Table Tennis. Players can easily act as if they are actually playing air hockey thanks to the impressive simulations of the wii-mote. Fishing is a minigame that depends on the reflexes of the player, for he must hook fish and then pull them out of the water as fast as he can. Billiards is another game that is very similar to its real-life counterpart.

One of the more zany minigames in Wii-play is Charge!, wherein a player rides a cow and has to run scarecrows over. For more confrontational players, there is also Tanks!, where a player destroys enemy tanks to his or her amusement.
